Variable Speeds

The independent variable was the brown one which is Blacktop. It was very bumpy. I thought about how everything was kind of controlled because everything was close to 13 seconds. If you don't know what a controlled variable is, a controlled variable is one that the variable is the one element that is not changed throughout an experiment. The first was Blacktop it was exactly 13 seconds. The second one was tile and it was 12.7 seconds. The third one was carpet and it was 12.93. That is all my variable speeds. An independent is the one variable you change. An dependent variable relies on the independent variable. An controlled variable is the thing that stays the same.
